So once again I have managed to neglect my blog ... possibly to a new level ...

I am so behind on blogging my sessions I spent the last half hour going through many folders trying to decide where to begin ... until finally I decided I might as well start at one of my most recent sessions and try to make my way backwards ... here's hoping.

This little man was an absolute dream to work with ... possibly the most cooperative baby I have had the pleasure to capture. It was a true pleasure and I send him and his family much much love.

The fall was such an overwhelmingly busy time for me that I had no choice but to put one foot in front of the other and just keep going ... and going ... and going ...

... and now that I am getting the opportunity to sit down and try to give the blog some love I have a minute to reflect on all of the wonderful moments that came my way ... this morning was one of those.

I loved spending the morning with this family ... there is something magical that happens when the chemistry clicks between the client and myself ... I could probably blog this whole session because every shot had something that makes my heart smile ... the honesty, the connection, the love and look at them ... they are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing yourselves with me ... much much love to you all.

To this day I am not sure how this family found me ... I always forget to ask ... but I think I'll just leave it at fate.

Sometimes you meet people and it just feels right ... I love this family (and mean it) ... I love everything about them ... yes they are soooo beautiful to look at ... but even more beautiful on the inside ... so real, so loving, just so everything right!!!

I wish many many many more babies upon them so I can see them every nine months until the end of time ;) !!!

My busy time has turned into pure craziness ... I met this family for the first time on the day of our shoot ... and they are lucky they have a baby causing me to speed things up a bit or I may have been tempted to have the shoot run for many hours longer ...

The location was sublime ... the light, the gardens, the character, the home ... but most of all the love they filled all these beautiful surroundings with ...

and that's what I chose to try and capture for them (although any day you wish to have me over just to hang out in the beauty that compliments you ... call me :))

A few little birdies have been buzzing in my ear reminding me to post more on here ... but life has been keeping me busy ... too busy in fact.

At any rate for those little birdie's I thought I'd put up some shots of our getaway this summer ... it was the first time we attempted a road trip with all five of us. Looking back at it ... I'd do it again ...

It was really nice to getaway from the everyday and enjoy a summer vacation ... away from the house, the work, the housework :)

It was great to go down memory lane also to all the places I visited as a kid ... on route to the next camping spot ... I know the kids had a blast ... and to me that's what really mattered ... good times with my family.

I wish summer lasted forever ...

This family was just so great!!! There are many many images I could blog from this session but I chose the ones that show who I think they are ... fun, connected and very charming ...

The first series of shots I adore for many reasons ... I love how C's tongue is sticking out in anticipation of the under duck (I remember that feeling in my belly) ... I love how the sand is kicking out from under dad's feet ... you KNOW he is not holding back ... I love the fact that their girls are still small enough to fly ... and finally I love the shot of the parents hands letting go and letting them do so ... fly high little ones ... you are loved!

Summer Time ...

After a very busy month I am going to take some time to spend the next two weeks with my family and enjoy the summer holidays with them ... I'll be abandoning all work until mid August ...

Thank you so much to everybody that chose me to capture memories for them ... I enjoyed meeting each and every one of you ... and have made some great friends along the way ...

I look forward to seeing you all again one day soon ... in the New Year I will be the proud owner of my very own studio space ... yay!!! ... I will continue to shoot natural light as much as possible but with our weather and lack of sunlight during the winter months I have decided to take things indoors ... where it's warm ... because as many of you know I'm not one for cold ... so stay tuned for a Sneak Peek of the space soon ... and opening specials ...
